Jean is a digital consultant and designer with nearly 20 years’ experience working with digital and multimedia and is an experienced trainer and speaker. She specialises in working with non-profits, charities, and campaigns. She has developed her expertise in digital strategu, communications, project management, digital storytelling, and design for print and publications. She has overseen huge ranges of digital projects, from concept development, to building of assets and content, to online promotion, all the way to the analysis of results at the end. One of her main aims is always to build digital capacity and understanding with clients, and leave them feeling confident in growing their digital projects.
Over the years Jean has worked for major organisations including Barnados, Oxfam, The Irish Times, and Trinity College Dublin. With a strong passion for digital technology and design, she is committed to keeping up to date with new technologies and best practices. Since 2005, Jean has specialised in the non-profit sector and has rich experience in using digital for social change, including work on progressive political campaigns such as Together for Yes, Yes Equality, and Catherine Connolly for President.
In 2014 she founded the social enterprise Digital Charity Lab to build digital skills in causes and campaigns and has trained thousands of non-profit staff. Jean works with OKC through the Arts Council RAISE Programme and is extremely passionate about innovation, creative collaboration, design thinking, and peer learning. Other consultancy clients include Dogs Trust, National Youth Council of Ireland, Trocaire, Focus Ireland, and Educate Together.
